Unable to test web pages locally
Had the same issues with legacy version of Multibrowser.
It doesn't seem possible to test local web pages.
Organisation is behind a firewall. We do have proxy settings, although there doesn't appear to be any way of changing proxy settings within emulation mode, unless I've missed something?

Sessions or secure pages are supported by using the Standalone browsers and Mobile emulator where you can browser manually and see how the page behaves.
The Responsive Design and Screenshot tester do not currently support pages behind a logon.
Of course the other option is to use the Automation feature. The automation uses Selenium and our custom built recorder to generate automation code within Visual Studio (you can use the free community version). Simply record a test where you log in to the site and navigate as an end user would. Save the test and edit it a little if you want.
You can then run your test against your required browser and select “Take Screenshots” option. Then screenshots would be generated of each event and saved.
Also note that if you install Visual Studio only after MultiBrowser, you would have to re-install MultiBrowser to ensure that the MultiBrowser Visual Studio extension is installed.
